West Cork League Rules

7 Applications For Membership

All existing and new clubs will be obliged to (re) apply for admission to the W.C.L. each season. Applications for membership of the league must be received (in writing) by the Hon. Fixtures Secretary not later than June 15^th. The M.C. reserves the right to refuse admission.

8. Formation of the League

The first business of the M.C. at its inaugural meeting of the season shall be to determine the number of clubs to form the League and its divisions for the ensuing season and to fill any vacancy that may exist.

9.Annual Subscription – Entrance Fees

The annual subscription to the league shall be determined by the M.C. at its inaugural meeting of the season. This shall entitle teams to enter all competitions confined to the West Cork League. This fee shall be paid on or before the first delegate meeting.

10. Registration of Players

a) Players shall be registered on forms supplied by the M.C. These forms shall be forwarded to clubs on application for league membership for the ensuing season. This form will allow for the registration of up to thirty players. Subsequent registrations will have to be made on a separate sheet supplied by the M.C. at a fee of 5 euro per player. The main registration form must be in hands of the Hon. Registrar on or before August 1^st.The Registration(s) for individual players as mentioned above must be in the hands of the Hon. Registrar forty-eight hours prior to kick-off of the match of the player being registered. For the purpose of this rule all forms shall be deemed to be in the hands of the league Hon. Registrar from time they are posted and the postmark of the Post Office shall be conclusive evidence thereof. No franking of registration forms accepted.

b) All players registered in the initial Players Registration Form and all players Registered after the completion of the initial players registration form are to be confirmed by the Secretary and the chairman of the respective clubs as fully paid up members. A confirmation is also to be received that the player’s signature is the original signature of the player.
