In last weekend's league programme we had a couple of very significant results that could have a big bearing on the outcome of the various divisions. In the premier league, the clash of Bunratty and Ballydehob was a big game, and the in-form Ballydehob lads came out ahead by 4 - 2.
Liam Hegarty gave Bunratty the lead, but they didn't enjoy it for too long as Colin O'Brien with two and Ray Kingston had the visitors 3 - 1 up at the break.
Oisin O'Driscoll had it back to 3 - 2, but Mark Cronin had the final say and made it 4 - 2 for the visitors. Ironically, because of a postponement earlier in the season, the return game between these two sides is next Sunday, at 11 o'clock in Ballydehob, and in their present form it's hard to see the Ballydehob side being overturned.
